The first speaker will be Dr. Shabbir Amanullah, Chief of Psychiatry Woodstock General Hospital, Ontario and President of the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry.Dr. Amanullah's presentation will be on "Lewy Body: An Update". The Launch will take place on Friday, 16th September 2022, at 8.00 Eastern Standard Time. Each block will be centred on a cutting edge topic in geriatric mental health. Baycrest is partnering with the Canada International Scientific Exchange Program (CISEPO) and the Canadian Academy of Geriatric Psychiatry to host an international education series, with the goal of:
• Sharing tools and resources between sites
• Highlighting how the practice of geriatric mental health differs across the world, including its challenges
• Fostering a sense of connection between participants
• Emphasizing democratization of knowledge Each expert led session will include a case.
